San Andres Street is a two-kilmoter tertiary road in the city of Manila[1]. It starts from Augusto Francisco Street in San Andres and it ends in Roxas Boulevard in Malate.
Route description[edit]
San Andres Street is a two-way road from the intersection of Augusto Francisco Street to Nakar Street, both in San Andres. It becomes one-way from Nakar to Osmeña Highway where it crosses. Roads becomes two-way again from Osmeña Highway to Linao Street. After crossing Linao street, it becomes one-way northbound.
It is bisected by Taft Avenue in front of Quirino LRT Station. It continues at the intersection of Quirino Avenue and traverses the Malate streets of Pilar Hidalgo Lim, Guerrero, Maria Orosa Avenue, Adriatico Street, Mabini, and Del Pilar. It passes by Malate Church and Plaza Rajah Sulayman before it terminates at Roxas Boulevard in Malate.
San Andres Street is also the street where jeepneys passing by from Singalong to Francisco street. Notable jeepney routes traversing this street are the San Andres-Padre Faura route (route from San Andres Bukid to Robinsons Place Manila)[2], the Guadalupe-Leon Guinto route (route from Leon Guinto Street to Guadalupe Nuevo in the neighboring city of Makati) on the bisected area towards Augusto Francisco, and the Divisoria-Harrison Plaza route on the bisected area towards Roxas Boulevard. It is parallel to Quirino Avenue from Roxas Boulevard to Osmeña Highway.
