Dr. Sandeep Kumar is an Indian computer scientist, academic, and researcher. He serves as an assistant professor in the department of computer science and engineering and is the founder and CEO of csbaba.com, an educational platform for computer science learners.[1] His research interests include machine learning, natural language processing (NLP), and semantic analysis.
Early life and education
Kumar earned his Doctor of Philosophy (Ph.D.) in computer science and engineering from Gautam Buddha University, Greater Noida, in 2025.[2] He completed his M.Tech (CSE) from C-DAC Noida (affiliated with Guru Gobind Singh Indraprastha University) in 2020, and his B.Tech (computer science) from PGDAV College, University of Delhi, in 2017. He has also qualified the GATE (2018) and UGC-NET examinations (Dec 2018, June 2020, Dec 2020–Jun 2021 merged cycle, and Dec 2023).[3]
Academic career
Kumar has over three years of teaching experience across reputed Indian institutions. He is an assistant professor Bennett University, Greater Noida, where he taught Natural Language Processing.[4]
Previously, he served as a lecturer (research scholar) at Gautam Buddha University, where he taught Natural Language Processing, Software Testing, Discrete Structures, and Data Modeling and Visualization. He has also worked as assistant professor with GL Bajaj Institute of Technology and Management, Greater Noida, where he teaches Data Structures, OOP with Java, and Object-Oriented Software Design with C++ in the Artificial Intelligence and Machine Learning Department.[5]
Research and publications
Kumar's research focuses on abstractive text summarization, knowledge graph construction, and semantic understanding using artificial intelligence techniques. His Ph.D. thesis, titled "Automatic Abstractive Text Summarization Model using Artificial Intelligence Techniques," was supervised by Dr. Arun Solanki at Gautam Buddha University.[6]
