Sandeep Raina
Sandeep Raina was born and raised in Kashmir. His short stories have been published in The Times of India, The Hindu, The Guardian, The Telegraph, Outlook India, Indian Express and Khaleej Times. 'A Bit of Everything' is his first book. A devastating exploration of what it means to lose one's home, A Bit of Everything lays bare the many ways in which the violence of a land tears apart the everyday lives of its people. A Bit of everything was shortlisted in 2021 for Tata Literature Live! First Book (Fiction). 'A Bit of Everything' was longlisted at PFC-VoW Book Awards 2021 for English Fiction. It was reviewed in Indian newspapers and magazines including The Times of India, The Indian Express, Hindustan Times, The Telegraph, Outlook India, Scroll.in, The Tribune India and The Hindu. In 2022, The Times of India listed it in ‘9 books that will help you understand the Kashmir conflict.’ Vogue India listed it in ‘6 definitive novels to read on Kashmir by Kashmiris'.
