Sandelford Bridge, also called the Mountsandel Bridge or New Bridge, is a twentieth century steel box girder bridge carrying the Coleraine Ring Road across the River Bann(Lower Bann) in Coleraine Northern Ireland. It was constructed in 1974 by Belfast-based Farrans Construction and designed by WS Atkins Consulting Engineers. It opened in 1975, and also carries a watermain which was repaired in 2024. It also carries the A29 across the River Lower Bann.

A29 Coleraine Ring Road

Until the mid-1970s, the Coleraine Bridge was the only crossing of the River Bann within the area. The river being only a few miles from the Atlantic Ocean was quite wide at Coleraine. As the town expanded rapidly in the 1970s the need for a new transport management system became apparent. The solution was the A29 Coleraine Ring Road. When Constructed the Sandelford Bridge immediately eased the congestion on the much older Coleraine Bridge as well as Coleraine town centre itself. The Ring Road was built between 1974 and 1976 built mostly single carriageway for the exception of the bridge and the approach to the lodge roundabout which is dual carriageway.
