Sandra Benede
Sandra Ebipade Benede (born 22 June 1996), known as Sandra Benede, is a Nigerian-American model, fashion entrepreneur, comedian, and social media creator.[1] She started her career in Nigeria through modelling and beauty contests, and later became a TikTok live-streamer.[2][3]
Early life and education
Sandra Benede was born on 22 June 1996 in Warri, Delta State, Nigeria, into an Ijaw family with roots in Ojobo, Burutu Local Government Area.[1] Her father is Ebiegberi Benede and her mother is Awoziere Benede.[1]
She went to Girls Model Enwerni, Delta Career College, and Royal School Ovwian.[1] She studied Agriculture at the University of Port Harcourt. Later, she moved to the United States and studied Psychology at Georgia State University.[1] She became a naturalised U.S. citizen.[1]
Career
Modelling and pageants
Benede started in beauty contests. She won Miss Minna and Miss Peace Day Bayelsa State.[1] She also reached the semi-finals of Miss Jetset in the United States.[1] She appeared in music videos for Nigerian singers Phyno and Timaya.[1]
Social media
Benede moved from modelling to social media. She first used Instagram and later TikTok.[4]
By 2025, she had over 1.2 million TikTok followers and became one of the main Nigerian live-streamers.[2][3] She earned TikTok’s LivePro badge and reached Level 44 in the gifting system.[4] Many of her live streams have 3 million to 4.7 million views.[4] Her videos use humour and real-life topics, and she says live streaming helps her talk to viewers directly.[3]
Philanthropy
Benede helps people using her online platform. She has paid school fees, rent, and supported small businesses.[1] She says this is because she experienced money problems while growing up.[1]
Personal life
Benede talks about her Ijaw background but does not speak the language fluently.[1] She says American celebrity Kim Kardashian is her role model.[5]
She was linked in media to Nigerian singer Naira Marley in 2022, but she denied rumours that she was the mother of his children.[6][7]
Achievements
Benede received TikTok’s LivePro badge in 2025 for her live streaming.[2] She measures success by both followers and her charitable work.[1] She plans to expand into mainstream media and start a foundation for entertainment and social good.[1]
