Sandy Ran Xu is the chief executive officer and executive director of JD.com, a Chinese e-commerce company and the largest tech company by revenue in China in 2021. Previously, Ms. Xu served as chief financial officer of JD.com from 2020 to 2023. Prior to joining JD.com in 2018, Ms. Xu was an audit partner and spent nearly 20 years at PricewaterhouseCoopers Zhong Tian LLP, Beijing office and PricewaterhouseCoopers, San Jose office..[1]. Ms. Xu serves on the board of directors for Yonghui Superstores, a $3.9 billion (market cap) supermarket chain, and the board of directors for Baidu, a Chinese tech firm.[2] In 2023, Forbes ranked Ms. Xu 20th on its list of The World's Most Powerful Women.[3] Ms. Xu received her bachelor’s degree with a double major in information science and economics from Peking University.[4]
