Sangamesh Upase
Sangamesh Upase or Sangappa Upase is an Indian actor who is known for his role of doctor’s assistant (Kothi Govinda) in Silli lalli.
Early life
Sangamesh Upase was born in Anjutagi village of Indi taluk in Vijayapura district. He hails from a weaver’s family. He grew up carrying out small menial jobs like cattle grazing, selling lottery tickets and even washing vessels in hotels.[1] He completed his primary education in Anjutagi with some gaps in between due to the bad financial conditions of his family. Then, he completed his 8th and 9th standard in Ballolli village near his village and completed his 10th class at Karnataka High School in Dharwad.[2]

Other works
He has written a poem book named Gandhi Mettu Beku which he released on 19 October 2009, at Ravindra Kalakshetra. Along with this, he also released an audio CD named Nannavaligagi and played a play named A Dil Maange More at that event.[1]
