Sanjay K. Chadha
Sanjay K. Chadha (born 21 September 1969) is an Indian Advocate who has appeared in the Hon’ble Supreme Court of India and various other High Courts and tribunals pan India. He is passionate about Sports and Culture promotion. Mr Chadha is a regular contributor on National TV & print media.
Early Life
Mr. Chadha was born on 21 September 1969 in Kichha District Nainital, Uttarakhand (then Uttar Pradesh) to Mr. Sudarshan Kumar Chadha and Mrs. Bimla Chadha. He is the youngest among the 4 siblings (2 elder sisters and one elder brother).
Education
He completed his Master’s in Commerce from SRCC, Delhi University in the year 1992. He completed his LL.B in the year 1995 from Campus Law Centre, Faculty of Law, Delhi University, Delhi.
Professional Career
He started his practice in the Delhi High Court and various other courts in Delhi. He later represented his clients in various courts and tribunals in India. He is also a Managing Partner & Founder of a Pan India Law Firm BSK Legal at New Delhi, which has an all India presence. Apart from Litigation he also does Arbitration & Mediation. He has actively taken part in various debates on national and international issues on national television and Radio. He has also co-authored a chapter in a book which is taught in Delhi University and has written legal articles in various national dailies.
Sports
Mr. Chadha was a National level Boxer in his University days. Mr Chadha was a state champion and was a medal holder in the 36th Senior National Boxing championship held at Kolkata and also a two-time medal holder for all India interuniversity championship. He is regularly involved in sports promotion and is vice president of Delhi Chess Association.
Culture
Mr. Chadha is very enthusiastic about promoting his country’s culture and art and preserving it. He is an executive member of SAHITYA KALA PARISHAD, DELHI – Academy of Music, Dance, Drama & Fine Arts vide Notification in the official government gazette. He is also very actively involved in organising festivals like BHARTENDU NATYA UTSAV, YUVA NATYA SAMAROH, MAHAVIDYALAYA NATYA SAMAROH and many other cultural events and actively participates in the promotion of arts and culture.
Personal Life
On 20th February 2002 he got married to Nidhi Chadha Nee Dewan. The couple are blessed with two children namely Sanya Chadha who is a renowned Odissi Dancer, and son Rishan Chadha, who is a child prodigy.
