Santosham is an Indian Telugu-language tabloid-sized magazine about Telugu-language cinema, popularly known as Tollywood. Established in 2003, it is one of the oldest film magazines in Telugu. During its first anniversary, Santosham Film Awards were started, rewarding the best of Tollywood and Telugu music.[1]

Kondeti Suresh is the founder and also the editor of the magazine. He started the magazine on 3 August 2003. In an interview, he revealed that the name of the magazine, Santosham was inspired from the 2002 Telugu film Santosham.[2] With in a short span of its launch in 2003, the magazine became prolific among the magazines related to Tollywood.

With the launch of Santosham Film Awards, the magazine continued its success. In the early cirulations, the magazine was circulated weekly.[3][4] Since 2013, the magazine started e-magazine.

Content[edit]

The magazine covers the wide range news related to Tollywood in Telugu-language. Film reviews, previews of upcoming films, and new actors to watch out for, box-office collections, celebrity gossip and rumours, etc are covered in the magazine.
