Sarah J. Halstead is an American stand-up comedian, actress, and podcaster.[1][2][3] Her debut comedy special "RVs and Cats", directed by Jeff Greenstein, was released on Prime Video in 2020.[4][5]
Early life
Sarah J. Halstead was born and raised in Flint, Michigan. Halstead later became a prominent fundraiser to assist her hometown in getting clean water during the Flint water crisis.[6] Halstead moved to New York City after high school, where she emerged as an actress and remained for seven years.[7] While married to her first husband, Halstead moved to Miami, Florida. She lived in Miami for more than ten years before she rented an RV and drove to Los Angeles.[8]
Career
Sarah J. Halstead began her career as an actress in New York. Upon moving to Los Angeles, and before breaking through in stand-up comedy, she was a prolific actress largely on television and in commercials.[9] She has acted in more than ninety commercials to date.[relevant? ]
Halstead's "RVs and Cats" debuted on Prime Video in February 2020.[10][11]
