Sarah Sham
Sarah Sham (born June 30, 1987) is the founder of Essajees Atelier, an award-winning luxury interior design firm involved in both commercial and residential interior design work. She is the fourth generation of the Essajees company, which deals in art, antiques and furniture.[1]

Sarah completed her four year undergraduate degree in Art History at Duke University, in Durham, North Carolina, in 2009 where she was a part of the prestigious women’s leadership program, Baldwin Scholars. She also completed a two year course in Interior Design from Rachna Sansad School Of Design, Mumbai, where she graduated at the top of her class.[2]
Work[edit]
Essajees Atelier was set up as an independent design practice founded on the ethos of the 110-year-old Essajees brand in 2014. Since its inception, it has completed multiple commercial and residential projects and also been recognised on various design platforms and awards.
Among their many works are holiday homes in Goa, luxury residences in Kolkata, and multiple restaurants, offices, building lobbies and many others.[3][4]

Essajees Atelier has won multiple awards for their design, including the Good Homes Magazine Design Award for Urban Restoration in 2019, the Trends Magazine Award for Best Hospitality Project in 2018, the Interior Designer of the Year award from Wade Asia in 2018 and has been named winner of the Best in Houzz for three consecutive years running, since 2018, for India’s Top Designs on a Global Platform.[5]
Personal Life[edit]
Sarah is married to Mustafa Ghouse, the Chief Executive Officer of JSW Sports. She is currently based out of Mumbai, Maharashtra.[6]
