Sardar Mir Akbar Khan (Urdu: سردار میر اکبر خان) was born on July 8, 1970, in village Bhont Tehsil and District Bagh, Azad Kashmir.[citation needed] He is a Pakistani politician who served as Minister for Forest and Bagh City Development Project of Azad Kashmir.[1]
Sardar Mir Akbar Khan joined Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf before the 2021[2] elections.[3] He won this constituency against Sardar Qamar Zaman Khan from the East.[4] Sardar Mir Akbar bagged 23,561 votes, whereas PPP's Sardar Qamaruz Zaman obtained 23,267 votes, a difference of a mere 294 votes.[5]
Early life and education
Sardar Mir Akbar Khan obtained his initial education from Bhont. He passed the matriculation examination from Govt. High School Bagh, Azad Kashmir and later passed FSc and B.A from Govt. Degree College Muzaffarabad. During this period, the pillars of the government were trembling due to his righteousness and his outspoken activities.[6][not in citation given]
