Sarwar Khan is an Indian singer Dangri, Jaisalmer, Rajasthan.[1] He gained fame and recognition after singing the popular song "Bapu Sehat Ke Liye Tu Toh Hanikarak Hai" in the 2016[2] movie Dangal (film) at the age of 12.[3][4][5]

Early Life[edit]
Sarwar Khan was born in Dangri village, Jaisalmer, Rajasthan, to a family of traditional folk artists.[2][6] Sarwar began his tutelage at the age of 3 and participated in various stage performances during his childhood.[7][8]
Career[edit]
Sarwar Khan's debut song in Dangal brought him immense fame and recognition.[8] Sarwar has also sung the title song for the cartoon Gattu Battu and recorded an ad film song for Borosil bottle.[9]
Achievements[edit]
Sarwar Khan won the Mirchi Music Award for Male Vocalist of The Year and was felicitated at a program held in Kalakar Bhawan.[10][11] His most recent film appearance was in Petta, a Tamil-language movie released in 2019[12] and KGF 2 in 2022.[7]
