Ian Akwankwasa known as Sasha Vybz[1] is a Ugandan music video director and cinematographer[2][3] . Sasha Vybz has directed music videos for various recording artists in Africa includes fik fameica, Sheebah, Pallaso, Beenie Gunter, Skale, Goodlyfe Crew, Eddy Kenzo and many others

Early life[edit]

Growing in Kabale distric[3], Sasha Vybz was attracted to motion pictures from a very young age. So he studied at the CityVarsity School of Media Studies and Creative Arts College in Cape Town, South Africa. Immediately [3]after his studies, he broke into the music industry in East Africa

Career[edit]

He directed videos for numerous musicians, including Loyal by Eddy Kenzo ft Patoranking, Make a wish by Bebe Cool,[4][5] Feel Love by Sat B, Ninda by Sheebah Karungi[6], Fire waist Skales ft harmonize [7] and many more. His talent has seen him bagging awards including Best Video Director at the 2019 African Muzik Magazine Awards (AFRIMMA)[8][9][10][11] [12] , and many more

He was named under Forbes Under 30 most promising Entrepreneurs of 2020[13][14][3]
