- He fought Uttar Pradesh Legislative Assembly elections 2017 as an independent candidate from Garhmukteshwar (Assembly constituency) in District Hapur.[1]
- His wife was elected unopposed Zila panchayat president, Hapur, after formation of Hapur district in 2012 under BSP government.
- In 2015 panchayat elections he fought on 5 wards out of 19 of zila panchayat Hapur & won 4 wards. Ultimately, he got success in electing zila panchayat president from his own group.
- He was state secretary in Samajwadi party until February 2017 & left the party which denied him a ticket for assembly elections.[2]
