Saurabh Tayade (born 23 July 2003) is an Indian politician from Maharashtra. He was elected as the President of Sindkhed Raja Municipal Council in Buldhana district in 2025. Multiple independent news sources have reported that he is among the youngest municipal council presidents in Maharashtra.[1]
Early life and education
Tayade was born in Sindkhed Raja, Maharashtra. He holds a Master of Science degree in Chemistry. [2]
Political career
In 2025, Tayade contested the Sindkhed Raja Municipal Council election as a candidate of the Nationalist Congress Party – Sharadchandra Pawar and was elected president at the age of 21.[3][4]
According to election data, Tayade received a total of 4,287 votes, accounting for 35.00% of the votes polled in the Sindkhed Raja Municipal Council election.[5]
