Savannah Welch (born August 4th) is an actress and a musician TX singer-songwriter.[1]

Biography[edit | edit source]

Savannah Welch was born in Nashville. Her father, Kevin Welch, is a musician and her mother is Jennifer Patten[2]. She has 2 siblings Dustin and Ada.

She studied in Hillsboro Comp High School in Nashville and in 2002, she moved to Austin and went to the University of Texas at Austin.[3]

In 2009, she formed a group band The Trishas with Liz Foster, Kelley Mickwee, and Jamie Wilson.[4]

In 2010, she joined the album of her father A Patch of Blue Sky along with her brother Dustin.[2]

Career[edit | edit source]

She is known as an actress for her work on Boyhood (2014), The tree of life (2011) and Casey Jones (2011).[5]

In 2018, she plays the role of an ex-Marine named Dawn who lost her leg in an IED explosion on the second season of the TV Series SIX[6]. Her character meets Alex Caulder (Kyle Schmid),one of the main characters of the Navy SEAL Team, in a physical therapy hospital. While shooting for this season, it happened to be the anniversary of her real life accident.[7]

Savannah was in a relationship with Kyle Ellison in her 20s. She now share her life with Jeff Burns, a hotel real estate investor and they have a son named Charlie born in 2012.

On November 2nd, 2016 at the farmers' market in Wimberley, she was hit by a car and lost her right leg.

She said : "I remember laying on the ground waiting for EMS to get there. The very first thing, I looked at my leg. I was holding my hands around my leg. I was laying on the ground and I feel like I was on an incline, or maybe I just thought I was on an incline because I couldn't see the rest of my leg. I was wearing skinny jeans and my leg was just bulging. It was huge. I was like, 'What the hell?' I was in excruciating pain and had no idea what had happened."[8]
