Saverio Raimondo (born 20 January 1984) is an Italian comedian and actor. He is best known for his satirical and stand-up comedy performances in various Italian TV shows, as well as for his voice role as the bully Ercole Visconti in the 2021 animated Pixar film Luca.[1]

Saverio Raimondo was born in Rome, Italy on 20 January 1984.
Career[edit]
In 2002, he was the author for Serena Dandini in the two editions of the program Bra - Arms stolen from agriculture, broadcast on Rai 3 . In 2007, he made his debut as a comic face on the satellite channel NessunTv, which later became RED TV in 2008, and with which he collaborated until 2009, signing and conducting three editions of the satirical talk RaimondoVisione and, for one season, the daily Abbasso Radio 2 - Il Contro-Fiorello also broadcast on radio by Radio Città Futura . In 2010, after a series of hosted inside Tetris, on LA7 (conducted at the time by Luca Telese) debuts on Rai 2 as part of the comedy program We Are All Well conducted by Belén Rodríguez.
In 2012, he was among the protagonists of Sabina Guzzanti's program Un due tre stella, broadcast on LA7 . In 2013, he joined Caterina Guzzanti in the program La prova dell'otto on MTV and joined the cast of Glob on Rai 3 with satirical editorials. During the electoral campaign for the 2013 political elections, some of his satirical videos were aired on Sky Uno. In the autumn of the same year he was the satirical correspondent for La gabbia, a program on LA7 conducted by Gianluigi Paragone; the following year, still in the same program, he made satirical editorials, until December 2014. From June 2014, he was in the cast of Stand up Comedy on Comedy Central Italia.
From June 2015, he has produced and hosted CCN - Comedy Central News for Comedy Central Italia ( Sky channel 124 ) up to the fifth season, a format that is repeated in various countries and for which he won the "Political Satire of TV Award" in 2016 during the awards ceremony of the 44th edition of the Forte dei Marmi Political Satire Award. From the sixth season the program sees the conduction by Michela Giraud . In May 2016 he participates in Where is Mario?, Corrado Guzzanti's television series broadcast on Sky Atlantic. Since 2017, he has held the role of panelist in the second edition of Sbandation Rai 2. Together with Carolina Di Domenico he comments on the semifinals of the Eurovision Song Contest 2018 live on Rai 4, during which due to some of his jokes live against San Marino the San Marino TV San Marino RTV asks for the sanctioning intervention of the EBU [2] which, however, ends in a stalemate.
Since June 25, 2018, along with former Senator Antonio Razzi leads on channel Nine daily strip Razzi your.[3] On 11 August 2018, he participates together with other artists in Vado al Massimo, an evening live event from the Circus Maximus conducted by Andrea Delogu on TV2000. From the third edition he joins the cast of Massimo Gramellini's Words of the Week on Rai 3.
In January 2019, after the publication of some background that saw him involved in the creation of some contents for the Sanremo Festival 2019, he announced on his social network pages his exclusion from the cast of the AfterFestival, decided by Rai 1 after the political controversies on migrants between the Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of the Interior Matteo Salvini and the director of the Festival Claudio Baglioni, controversies that among other things would be the subject of satire in his interventions already planned during the Sanremo evenings. It's for Comedy Central Italy that eventually creates content for the web during the week of Sanremo with the spin-off of its TV program CCN: Mission Sanremo and in mid-February for the TV program CCN: Speciale Sanremo.
On May 17, 2019, Netflix released a stand-up special starring Raimondo, titled Saverio Raimondo: Il Satiro Parlante.
Since September 2019, one of his satirical speeches has been hosted weekly within the Rai 1 Porta a Porta program by Bruno Vespa. In December 2020 he made his debut on Rai 4 in the late evening with Pigiama Rave.
With Ema Stokholma he comments on the edition of the Eurovision Song Contest 2021, the semifinals live on Rai 4 and Rai Radio 2, while the final only on Rai Radio 2. For RaiPlay, they realize the first edition of the Italian Eurovision Party.
In 2021, he lends his voice to Ercole Visconti, the villain of the 24th animated film by Pixar, Luca, both in the original English version and in the Italian dubbing.[4][5]
