ScaleSwap — established in 2021, Scaleswap is a decentralized blockchain-based token swapping platform[1] that provides a secure[2] and compliant environment for token-based startups to raise capital. The company was founded by Stanislav Stolberg and Ralf P. Gerteis and built by a worldwide team of contributors. Scaleswap’s native token is SCA.[3]
Background[edit]
Scaleswap began initial development in 2021 [4] andbuild its platform on Polygon Network, an Ethereum layer 2 scaling solution.[5] In August 2021, Scaleswap introduced a multi-chain architecture that utilizes multiple blockchains including Ethereum, Binance Smart Chain, Fantom Network, and Harmony.
Design[edit]
DeFi (decentralized finance) is an emerging open form of finance based on blockchain technology. DeFi products and services do not require brokerages, banks, or other intermediaries.[6] Scaleswap facilitates the crowdfunding process through trustless smart contracts. The Fundraiser deposits their tokens into the smart contract, participants then transfer their funds through the platform, and the smart contract automatically completes the final swap and distribution of funds based on the coded terms.
