Scatter Press Limited is a British independent publishing company founded by educator, author and editor Rachel Rosa. The company publishes books, educational material and community publications.

The company was incorporated in the United Kingdom on 14 December 2022 as Rachel Rosa Limited and changed its name to Scatter Press Limited on 5 November 2025.[1]

Rachel Rosa

Scatter Press was founded by British educator, author and editor Rachel Rosa.

Rosa studied Psychological Sciences at Brunel University London. In 2022, while studying for an MSc in Psychological Sciences, she was among twelve students and graduates named Brunel Freelancer of the Year in the university's inaugural Freelancer Awards.[9]

Brunel described Rosa's freelance work as including graphic design, copywriting, editing, artwork and digital content. The university also reported on her work for literacy organisation The Reading Doctor, including branding and communications work.[9]

Rosa has also worked in British education in Spain and as an inspector of British schools. A published NABSS inspection report for Mi Pequeña Granja Nursery School in Madrid identifies Rosa as Lead Inspector for an inspection conducted on 9 April 2021.[10]

The inspection concerned the school's authorisation as a British school in Spain for children aged two to six.[10]

A further NABSS report for Hastings School in Madrid identifies Rosa as a Team Inspector for its May 2021 inspection, alongside Lead Inspector Andrew Beavon.[11]

Her published works include 100 Years of Pooh: When a Pencil Was Enough and Flute Fingers in 28 Days: A Visual Fingering System for Concert Flute.[3]

Publishing approach
