Schokin, Rostyslav Georgiyovych

is a Ukrainian public figure and top manager in the field of education and science, physical culture and sports; a scientist, educator, and athlete.

He was born November 25, 1980 in Kiev.

In 1997, he graduated from high school #125 in Kiev with a gold medal.

He studied at Kiev National University of Trade and Economics with a major in Banking and at the Interregional Academy of Personnel Management.

He is a powerlifting master (1996).

Since 2001 he has been working at the Interregional Academy of Personnel Management. He has worked his way from assistant to deputy chairman of the Supervisory Board of the Interregional Academy of Personnel Management (since 2006).

He is the First Vice-President of the Association of Wrestling of Ukraine (since 2004) and the President of the Association of Wrestling of the City of Kiev (since 2010).

In 2014, according to the results of the public defense of a thesis on the topic “Legal regulation of intellectual property in the economic system of development of Ukraine”, he was awarded the academic degree of Candidate of Legal Sciences with the major of Economic Law, Procedural Law.

In 2015, the Ministry of Education and Science of Ukraine awarded him the academic title of Associate Professor.

He is the author of more than 50 scientific papers including 2 monographs.

He is also the author of a number of legislative initiatives in the field of education and higher education; of proposals and amendments to the draft Laws of Ukraine "On Education", "On Higher Education"; “On Amendments to Certain Legislative Acts of Ukraine on Education Concerning Organization of Inclusive Education”; of comments to the draft Government Decree "On Approval of the Licensing Conditions for the Pursuit of Educational Activities of Educational Institutions", etc.

He is an Honored Worker of Physical Culture and Sports of Ukraine (2015).

- orders and awards of the Ukrainian Orthodox Church including the Highest Order of Anthony and Theodosius of the I Degree.
