Science Library

The Science Library, formerly named the Chemistry Library, is located in the Indiana University of Bloomington, inside the Chemistry Building C002. The library provides research and study resources for faculty and students of the College of Arts and Sciences. It is one of the branch libraries of the IU library system. The library holds books for reservation and other physical material including Astronomy, Biochemistry, Computer Science, Mathematics, Physics, etc. All IUB students and faculty can use the resources from the library using their campus card. Research assistance is available in a wide range to support all students, faculty, and staff of the campus. Databases such as MathSciNet, OneSearch, PubMed, and SciFinder are available in the library.
The Chemistry Library was closed temporarily on December 15, 2017, at 5 p.m. due to renovations, and it reopened as the Science Library on August 13, 2018, at 9 a.m. The new library contains extra rooms for group study and teaching purposes. The opening hours are generally from 8 a.m. to 9 p.m. Monday-Friday and 1 p.m. to 9 p.m. on Sunday and it is closed on Saturday.
