Scott Oates (born 10 April 1998) is a Welsh badminton player. He has won three men's doubles titles at the Welsh National Championships.[2] He is a member of the Welsh national team since 2009 and represented Wales at the 2020 European Men's and Women's Team Badminton Championships.[1] He represents Badminton Esbjerg[3] in the Badminton Denmark[4] National Leagues. Oates is a Warwick Sport[5] scholar athlete.
Oates started competitive badminton when he was 10 years old in junior tournaments.[1]
