Scott Robinson (producer)
Scott Thomas Robinson (also known as Great Scott!!) is an American record producer, songwriter, engineer, an mixer, based in Los Angeles, CA.[1]. He worked as a vocal engineer on Christina Aguilera and Demi Lovato's "Fall In Line."[2][3] Robinson has also worked with Bebe Rexha,[4]Sabrina Carpenter[5] and Matoma.[6] He co-produced Paty Cantu's single "Rompo Contigo"[7] which has earned a gold certification in Ecuador and was an iTunes #1 in 7 countries[8][9]. He co-produced "Party's Over" by Astrid S which was co-written by Julia Michaels.[10]
Career[edit]
Robinson was a founding member and drummer of the DC-based rock band Hotspur[11], who had multiple songs placed on MTV, Bravo, and Oxygen[12]. The band eventually signed to Mitch Allan's record label, Guest House Entertainment, and renamed themselves The Static[13]
He also owned and operated Sonic Sweets Recording studio in Beltsville, MD outside of Washington, DC [14]. While there, Robinson collaborated with friends to create "Horror On Headstone Hill: A Love Story", a zombie rock opera[15].
