Scott Roeben is an American humorist, blogger, author and photographer.

He is best known as the creator of humor site Dribbleglass.com and VitalVegas.com, a travel Web site.[1][2][3]

Early Life

Roeben was born in Virginia Beach, Virginia and lived throughout the U.S., including in Albany, New York; San Diego, California; Mililani, Hawaii and Los Angeles, California. He graduated from the University of Hawaii and currently lives in Las Vegas, Nevada.

Career

Professionally, Roeben has worked in the fields of public relations, corporate communications, traditional marketing and digital marketing.

Most notably, from 1994-2002, he worked in public relations and communications at the Writers Guild of America, west. During his tenure, he created the "Somebody Wrote That" image campaign, raising awareness of the contributions of screenwriters to filmmaking.

Simultaneously, he created Dribbleglass.com, a humor site named one of the funniest on the Internet by Yahoo Magazine. In 2005, the site's viral billboards were featured in a book, "Twisted Billboards," published by Running Press.[4]

After relocating to Las Vegas (2003), Roeben joined the team at LasVegas.com, a travel Web site.

From 2007-2013, he was a blogger and content manager at one of the world's largest casino companies, Caesars Entertainment. There, he created the company's Pulse of Vegas blog (later rebranded to Total Vegas Blog). The blog was named the "Best PR Blog" in the country in PR Daily's Digital PR & Social Media Awards. In 2010, he was awarded a Chairman's Award, a companywide honor at Caesars Entertainment, for community volunteerism.

Roeben served as Digital Marketing Manager for Fremont Street Experience from 2014-2020. Among several accomplishments, Roeben grew the company's Facebook audience from 62,000 to nearly 700,000 people.

Most recently, Roeben founded VitalVegas.com, a travel blog about all things Las Vegas. The blog was named "Best Las Vegas Blog" by the Las Vegas Interactive Marketers Association, among other accolades.

Honors, Decorations, Awards and Distinctions

Roeben is an award-winning photographer, and routinely volunteers his services for organizations such as the Animal Foundation animal rescue, Shade Tree abused women shelter, Boys and Girls Clubs and others.

Roeben was a longtime volunteer and former Board Member of Spread the Word Nevada, an organization that provides books to at-risk youth.

Roeben is an award-winning public speaker and longtime member of Toastmasters International.

He has appeared as a Las Vegas expert on several publications, podcasts and news programs, including a series of appearances on KLAS 8 Las Vegas and numerous others.

Roeben's work is ubiquitous on the Internet and in the books by other authors. His quotes appear alongside those of Dave Barry, Woody Allen and other comedy writing luminaries.
