ScreenCraft is a screenwriting competition founded in 2012 by film producers Cameron Cubbison and John Rhodes with the stated mission to develop and celebrate commercially viable and genre-focused screenplays from emerging talent.
Awards are given to the following genres and formats:
- Horror & Thriller
- Action & Adventure
- Comedy
- Drama
- Sci-Fi & Fantasy
- Family
- Animation
- Cinematic Book
- Cinematic Short Story
- Stage Play
- TV Pilot
- Short Film
- Feature
- True Story & Public Domain
Other programs are also offered, including the ScreenCraft Film Fund and the ScreenCraft Fellowship[1], which is included on the Writers Guild Foundation’s masterlist of Fellowship Programs For Screenwriters.[2]
Each competition and program is judged by Hollywood development executives, producers, literary managers, agents, and screenwriters.
