Scrounche Boys

From EverybodyWiki Bios & Wiki

Scrounche Boys are an American Experimental Hip Hop Quintet out of Poughkeepsie, New York. Formed in July 2017 the band consists of BottleCap, WaterbottleMan (formerly known as Carrot Man), Pantaloon, Bucket, MK Ultra, and are managed by Bob the Builder also know as "The Sixth Scrounche". In August 2017 the band released their debut LP "The Scrounche is Back" which garnered attention for the hits "Inebriated (Bug Song)", "Kidney Stones", and "P*ssy". While their debut was promising the music had to wait as each member departed to their respective colleges. Lead Producer for the Scrounche BottleCap went on to produce a slate of beats while at school, and during a break from school, together the Scrounche Boys hit the studio and from December 22nd to Feb 9th wrote, recorded, and mastered their Sophomore effort "Letters from the Spermbank" in their studio "The Scrounche Lounge". The album moved significantly more units (under the pay what you want scale) than their previous record and put them on the map in the Experimental Hip Hop scene. Tracks like "Waterbottleman", "Bomb part 1" and "part 2", and "Space Van" showed the versatility in sound the band had to offer. Their most successful track to date "Waterbottleman" displays the struggles within individuals when being themselves in society and going against social norms; lyrical provider for the track Carrot Man has taken over the WaterbottleMan persona and has publicly stated that he is not longer Carrot man he is the WaterbottleMan; "Carrot is gone, the world needs a savior, a savior that comes in 5 cents a return, I am no longer known as Carrot Man from now on I am the WaterbottleMan" (TMZ, 2018). In July 2018 the Scrounche Boys after being silent for almost 7 months released a single called "Units" off their forthcoming album "Nickels ain't Dimes". Upon release the single sent shockwaves through the underground scene, the track was held in high regards and the preorders of their third release have nearly doubled the sales of their previous. On August 19th, 2018 the band dropped their third work "Nickel's ain't Dimes" and as expected was their best selling to date. The album received high praise from critics and fans alike on songs such as the title track "Nickels ain't Dimes", "Pickle", and "Bath Time", with high profile features such as El Tigre. The band is vocal about their love for their supporters and are actively thanking their patrons on social media, all media ran by the boys themselves. It is unknown what holds the future for the Scrounche, when/if a fourth album is coming will be coming out.
