Scuderia Franera was a British racing team founded by Peter Bell. They entered four Formula One World Championship Grands Prix in 1952 with racing driver Ken Wharton and scored three points. They also participated in seven non-championship Formula One races in 1952 and scored one third place. Results were promising, but the team had to let almost two months of racing go by when Wharton crashed the car during the rain-affected Belgian Grand Prix and the one available Frazer-Nash chassis had to be rebuilt from the ground up. During the second half of the year, the team sometimes entered a Cooper-Bristol.[1]
