Biography
Sean Modster is a rookie three-star recruit who played for head coach Bob Johnson. His professional career has been a successful one in which he caught 37 passes for 783 yards and 13 touchdowns as a senior on the way to All-South Coast League Most Valuable Offensive Player honors. As a junior season, Sean had 45 gatherings for 935 yards and 12 touchdowns, acquiring All-County Second Team honors.[1]
Personal Life
Sean graduated with a degree in business from Boise State and Redshirted the 2014 season. He has one younger sibling (Devon) who plays QB for Cal-Berkeley. During his early years, he was interested in home design and wanted to pursue a career in the design field.
College Career
Sean started his career by playing for the Broncos. He played in 45 games (nine starts) for the Broncos, getting 111 passes for 1,487 yards and 11 TDs[2] As a senior, named to the All-Mountain West second team in the wake of recording group highs in gatherings (68) and yards (978), and tying a group high with 8 TDs In his junior season, got 32 passes for 335 yards and 3 TDs, seeing activity in 14 games (two starts) As a sophomore, played in 10 games, counting 8 gets for 135 yards. Appeared in eight games as a redshirt rookie, making 3 gets for 39 yards. In his high school, Prepped at Mission Viejo (CA) HS, getting 37 passes for 783 yards and 13 TDs as a senior, on the way to acquiring All-South Coast League Most Valuable Offensive Player honors. He also earned, All-County second-group praises as a junior.

- caught six passes for 74 yards against UConn (Sept. 8)
- four catches for 56 yards at Oklahoma State (Sept. 15)
- made a team-high seven catches for 88 yards at Wyoming (Sept. 29)
- four catches for 44 yards against San Diego State (Oct. 6)
- caught a game-high six passes for 51 yards at Nevada (Oct. 13)
- caught two touchdowns, finished with three catches for 61 yards against Colorado State (Oct. 19)
- posted his second 100-yard game of the season at Air Force, going for 101 yards on six catches (Oct. 27)
- caught five passes for 63 yards against Fresno State (Nov. 9)
- set career highs in receptions (nine) and touchdown catches (three) while racking up 129 receiving yards at New Mexico (Nov. 16)
