Sean Walsh (producer)
Sean Patrick Walsh was a producer on A Current Affair from August 2002 until December 2007.
He is now the Global Chief Brand Officer for MailOnline in New York City.
At A Current Affair, he was responsible for securing numerous exclusive interviews for the program that made global headlines, including James Hewitt, Hugh Hefner, Schapelle Corby, Pauline Hanson, Lindy Chamberlain, Deborra-Lee Furness, Rosa Monckton, Terri Irwin and her husband Steve Irwin.
Prior to this, Walsh worked as a researcher on Today Tonight. He has also worked as a reporter for KMTR in Oregon, and as a News Assistant/Runner during the 2000 Summer Olympics for NBC Nightly News.
He began his career by interning at both the Sydney Organising Committee for the 2000 Olympic Games and NBC's Sacramento affiliate KCRA.
Walsh graduated with a Bachelor of Arts degree in Communications (Journalism) from the University of Technology, Sydney. He also studied at Sacramento State University.
He is married to Emma Walsh and lives in Manhattan.
