Sean na gCannai Ó Labhraí
Sean na gCannai Ó Labhraí, aka Sean O'Lowry, was Irish criminal who flourished during the 1820s and 1830s.
He was a native of Connemara, and a professional criminal. He was an associate of Liam Dearg Ó Mainnín of Loch an Ghadai in Derrycunlagh, Connemara. He eventually murdered Ó Mainnín and hid his body for a time in his own house. A neighbouring child apparently saw the murder being committed, but feigned ignorance in case Ó Labhraí killed her too. He is said to have eventually been arrested by the local landlord, Thomas Barnwall Martin of nearby Ballinahinch.
