Secret Neighbor is an online multiplayer social horror game from developer Dynamic Pixels[1] and publisher tinyBuild. It was first released on October 23, 2019 on the Xbox One and PC.
Gameplay[edit]
Set in the Hello Neighbor universe[2], players take the role of a group of friends about to intrude into their neighbor's basement to rescue one of their own. At the beginning of the game, however, one of the players will be appointed as the Neighbor in disguise. His job is to gain the trust of the other players and then betray them.[3]
The Neighbor has various tools and gadgets at his disposal to trap the other players as they search around the house for keys to unlock the basement. Watch out for suspicious behavior among your friends. Betrayal is just looming around in the corner.
Reception[edit]
Secret Neighbor earned a gamerscore of 8.78 on whatoplay for its PC release[4] and a 6.26 for its Xbox One release[5]. Its score were aggregated based on 3.03K user reviews for its PC release and 260 user reviews for its Xbox One release, respectively.
