Senayan Library Management System (SLIMS) is an open-source integrated library system (ILS) which was first developed in 2007 in Indonesia by the National Education Information and Public Relations Center[3].

    Features

Senayan Library Management System (SLIMS) is a web-based ILS. For MS Windows SLIMS is available as a portable version that can be used on a USB stick ("Portable Slims").

It offers a module for cataloging media ("Bibliography") and handles serials ("Stocktake"). The media can be searched in an "OPAC" module. Patrons are managed in the "Membership" module and circulations in the module of the same name.

It supports many[1] [4] standards like Z39.50, SRU, OAI - PMH, MODS, RSS.

    Development

SLIMS is licensed under GNU General Public License, which ensures the free availability of the software. Since Senayan 3 releases get code names that refer to the indigenous floras of Indonesia.[5]
