25 Nights (Japanese: 二十五泊) was the first concert residency by American singer-actress Monica Vinco at Saitama Super Arena in Saitama, Japan. Launched in support of her sixth studio album, XXV (2026), it marked Vinco's first visit to both Japan and the Asian continent. The residency commenced on November 6, 2026, to coincide with the release of XXV, and continued its record-breaking run until December 31, 2026.
The residency was announced on August 21, sponsored by HBO and Asian concert promoter AEGX. Described as a "fusion of the West and East", each four-hour show featured over thirty songs from Vinco's discography and aesthetics and homages to Japanese culture and pop culture. Controversy arose from Western audiences, who criticized the singer of cultural appropriation; several critics, audiences, and historians, especially in Asia and Japan, defended and praised the visuals, however. Regardless, 25 Nights was critically acclaimed for its visuals, choreography, wardrobe, production design, cultural references, and Vinco's showmanship.
25 Nights incited a media frenzy, entitled "Vincomania", around the singer's career and series Manic and opened discussions on Western perspectives of Asian culture, postwar relations between Japan and the United States, and the history of Western artists visiting the country. It was also a commercial success with a revenue of $97 million, boosting the Japanese economy for throughout the months of November and December. On October 1, 2027, Vinco released a live album—entitled 25: Live from Tokyo—and a concert special of the same name was broadcast on HBO. On December 31, all of Vinco's past concert films received live album releases.
Background and development
Throughout mid-2026, Vinco began writing the third season of One of the Boys, filmed her scenes in The Batman: Part II, and had been casted in a remake of Fatal Attraction. The singer announced her sixth studio album XXV on August 4, 2026, following the release of its lead single, “Loverboy”. On August 21, Vinco stated, due to her busy filming schedule, she could not provide a full-scale tour, and, instead, decided to take the opportunity to visit Japan for the first time with a twenty-five-date residency at Saitama Super Arena in the Tokyo metropolitan. The presale took place on August 25, 2026, with the general sale taking place August 28. The extensive run became the longest concert series at the arena, breaking Ayumi Hamasaki's seven-date record in 2010.
