Seo Ji-yeon (서지연; born 11 November 1986), is a South Korean actress, singer, host, model ,comedian and YouTuber who come to work and live in Thailand.

Ji-yeon was born in South Korea. The name "Jiyeon" was given to her by her Maternal Grandfather.[1]

At the age of 11, Ji-yeon moved to Thailand. After her father moved to work there for a while. Now, her father, mother, brother and sister have all moved to live in Thailand.[1]

When she came to Thailand, Ji-yeon studied junior high school at Ruamrudee Witaed Suksa School, Bangkok. At that time, Ji-yeon was teased by her friends at school because she couldn't speak Thai or English. She was discouraged and wanted to return to her homeland. But with the support of her father, she made it through this.[1]

Ji-yeon graduated with a bachelor's degree from the Faculty of Liberal Arts. Assumption University major Business Japanese Language.[2]

Ji-yeon likes to sing and intends to become a singer. While still studying at Ruamrudee Witaed Suksa School used to be an MC at school and other events at Siam Paragon both attend school activities and receive ongoing rewards.[3] But her parents wanted her to be an ambassador rather than a singer.[3]

Ji-yeon started her career in the entertainment industry. When a friend invited her to watch the filming of Five Live, the then-current GMM Grammy music show, at the GMM Grammy Place building. Grammy noticed Ji-yeon and invites her to take a test performance. But because at that time, she still couldn't speak Thai fluently. Her earliest jobs were modeling, shooting commercials and performing music videos.

Later, Pitchaya and Pirat Nithiphaisalkul, two brothers who were famous duo singers in those days of GMM Grammys under the name Golf & Mike and friend at Ruamrudee Witaed Suksa School introduced Ji-yeon to know one of Grammy's producers and Nitipong Hornak, a famous Grammy and Thailand composer and former band leader of Chaliang. A popular Thai band from the early 80s to the early 90s, they listened to it and liked it so they met and intended to write a song for her. Then Jiyeon had always learned to sing from Nitipong,[3] And Takonkiet Virawan, the founder of Exact, a subsidiary of Grammy who heard the song "I have no place to go" that Jiyeon sang in the recording caught he attention. And when he met Ji-yeon was impressed, Ji-yeon therefore worked with Exact.[1][3]

At the beginning of 2017, Ji-Yeon was removed from the movie Mind Memory 1.44 Love Space, with the film's director choosing Joy Juthamas Wichai, former leader of the Thai girl group Gaia, to replace her.[4] In March of the same year she was removed from two comedy shows, By Ped Chern-yim, a well-known Thai comedian, and the owner of Comedy Line, who hosts both comedy shows, has chosen Chompoo, a close friend of Ji-yeon, to take over.[5] During the same period, She was criticized for not shooting movies of famous film director Poj Anon. A famous former actor finder who created many singer stars to decorate the industry and former editor-in-chief of famous magazines like You and Me, with problems acting with Golf Benjapol Chey-arun, a famous actor, singer-songwriter, the eldest son of Permpol Chey-arun, a former famous film director, so she changed her manager and apologize to Poj Anon.[6]

Ji-yeon had a relationship with R Anatpol or R The Star, who met on the set of Scenerio's sitcom, but eventually broke up. Later, she meets new love with Han Isariya Patramanop or Han the Star, an actor, singer and dancer who met while filming a sitcom together.
