Film and TV School Septima Ars (Spanish: Escuela de Cine y TV Septima Ars) is a film academy located in the city of Madrid, Spain. Founded in 1992 by film professionals, it has specialized teachers, with experience in teaching Film and TV, who combine training with their regular work in the audiovisual industry.[1]
In 2014 Miguel Ferrari will be the first of his students to receive a Goya with his film Azul y no tan Rosa[2]. In 2019 Rodrigo Sorogoyen[3], receives an Oscar nomination[4] and wins 7 Goya awards with his film El reino, including Best Script and best Movie[5]. In 2022 Néstor López, received a Goya award for the production of the documentary Mama. Every year several alumni are part of the films nominated for the Goya or Forqué Awards, as many of the technical professionals currently working behind the cameras in the main series or feature films produced in Spain have been trained in its classrooms.
