Seqrite is a multinational [3] enterprise security software provider headquartered in Pune, India. Seqrite targets small, midsize and large enterprises and develops security management products across endpoints, mobile devices, servers and network.

Seqrite is the enterprise division of Quick Heal Technologies Ltd, a publicly held company headquartered in Pune, India. Quick Heal was founded in 1995, as "CAT Computer Services (P) Ltd" and renamed in 2007. Quick Heal Technologies Ltd is listed on BSE[4] and NSE[5].[6]

Quick Heal Technologies announced the launch of its enterprise brand 'Seqrite' -- aimed at IT security solutions for businesses in Feb 2015.[7] Seqrite operates through a network of distributors, resellers, and system-integrators in over 80 countries with offices in India, Japan, USA, Kenya, and UAE. It provides customer support by using inbound telephone center, chat, support forum, email, remote and on-site support.[8]

In October 2017, Seqrite Cyber Intelligence Labs, a unit of BSE-listed Quick Heal Technologies reported a breach at IRINN affecting over 6000 Indian organizations.[9]

In November 2017, Seqrite entered into a technology collaboration with a Finnish company, Jetico to develop Encryption solutions.[10]

Recognition[edit]

In December 2016, AV-TEST Product Review and Certification Report for Sep-Oct 2016 gave Seqrite EPS a total rating of 17.5 out of 18 in its evaluation and the ‘Top Product’ title.[11]

In January and February 2017, Seqrite EPS again received the ‘Top Product’ title from AV TEST Institute.[12]

In April 2017, AVLab conducted a ‘Protection test against drive-by download attacks’. Seqrite Endpoint Security v7.2 received BEST+++ certification in this test which implies that the software stopped all attacks of drive-by download carried out in the test.[13]

Seqrite Endpoint Security v 17.0 received no. 1 rating in Anti-Virus Comparative Performance Test for September 2017.[14]

In October 2017, AVLab conducted a Fileless Malware Protection Test. In this test, Seqrite Endpoint Security Enterprise Suite was awarded the BEST+++ Certificate implying that Seqrite Endpoint Security Enterprise Suite was able to stop all sorts of fileless malware attacks that were carried out in AVLab’s Fileless Malware Protection Test.[15]
