Serge Fiankan (born Serge Allouko Fiankan on August 8, 1966) is an American entrepreneur and small business owner based in the San Francisco Bay Area and is running for governor in the 2022 California gubernatorial elections. Fiankan is not affiliated with any political party.
Biography
Born to a Belgian mother (Anne-Marie Fiankan) and an Ivorian father (Gaston Fiankan), Fiankan grew up in the Democratic Republic of Congo then Zaire. His father was an Ambassador for the Ivory Coast, so Serge spent his early years in the world of African politics.
In his early twenties, Fiankan moved to Europe before coming to the US. He graduated from San Francisco State University with a degree in Broadcast Telecommunications in 1992. Fiankan worked in the entertainment industry for nearly a decade. He then became an independent entrepreneur and a California real-estate broker (License ID 01308224[1] in 2008.
