ServiceTitan
ServiceTitan is a privately held startup based out of Glendale, California that sells a work management software platform for home services companies and contractors in areas such as plumbing and electrical work[1][2]. ServiceTitan was founded in 2012 by Ara Mahdessian and Vahe Kuzoyan, who were joined in 2018 by former Netflix Executive David Burt as CFO.[3][4] In 2018, Armenia's Deputy Prime Minister Tigran Avinyan led a delegation of government officials to the United States to negotiate and solidify investment agreements between the U.S. and Armenia that started at ServiceTitan's headquarters and ended in investment agreements between the two countries worth $30.5 million.[5]

ServiceTitan is valued at $1.65 billion, giving it "Unicorn" status, and has raised a total of $326 million.[6][7] In March of 2018, the company raised $62 million in Series C[8], and in November 2018 the company raised $165 million in Series D led by Index Ventures, with participation from Dragoneer and T. Rowe Price.[9] ServiceTitan covers roughly 20% of the market across the U.S. and Canada, as of November 2018.[10]
Acquisitions[edit]
In 2018, ServiceTitan acquired JaRay Software Inc., a 40-year old business management system based in Kansas.[11][12]
