Setaleki Baker (born 15 February 2001) is a New Zealand rugby union player who plays for [[{{{tan}}}|{{{t}}}]] in the Bunnings NPC. His position is flanker.
Career[edit]
Baker began training with the Tasman Mako in 2020 and was selected to play for the [[{{{tan}}}|{{{t}}}]] under 20 side in 2021. He won a scholarship to study at NMIT.[1] Baker was named in the Mako side to play [[{{{tan}}}|{{{t}}}]] in Round 7 of the 2022 Bunnings NPC but he did not get on. He was named in the Tasman squad for the 2023 Bunnings NPC. He made his debut in Round 1, coming off the bench against [[{{{tan}}}|{{{t}}}]] in a 27–15 win for the Mako. Baker had a standout season, playing 8 games for the side in 2023 as the Mako made the quarter finals before losing to [[{{{tan}}}|{{{t}}}]].
