Sette is a 2019 romance novel with erotic literature elements, one of the most famous by Italian author Linda Lercari.

Plot[edit]

Set in the US, the plot revolves around Maggie Frost, a a young woman who decides to escape from sunny and cheerful California to reach Maine, on the East Coast of the United States. A question about Maggie immediately comes naturally: what led the girl to travel over 5000 kilometers crossing the United States from one side to the other? Exploited by Mr. White, an easy going accountant, Maggie is sent on a mission to the home of the seven Grind brothers to sort out the accounting. The young girl thought she would find some rough cowboys, but instead he will enter an incredible world. A unique, special family, outside of any preconceived scheme, an almost magical environment where she will manage to find true love.

Writing the novel Sette, Lercari confirms herself as an expert in romance novels, with a passion for erotism, the North American culture and the United States culture. It was not easy to talk in a delicate way about those topics, but the thing she most wanted to avoid were vulgarity and disturbing expressions, and she believes she succeeded about this.

Style and themes[edit]

Sette is romance novel with erotic literature elements, where there are hilarious and incandescent situations, sometime real and other times less real. Written in the first person with a female point of view but in some chapters the author gives voice to the brothers, with a modern style of writing.[1]
