History
SeventySix Capital was founded by Wayne Kimmel in 1999 under the name ETF Venture Funds[2]. In 2010, the company was rebranded as SeventySix Capital[3]. In 2017, former MLB athlete Ryan Howard announced that he had joined SeventySix Capital as a Partner[4]. In 2018, SeventySix Capital launched the Athlete Venture Group with members including Brian Westbrook[5], Ralph Sampson[6], and DeMarco Murray[7]
Investments
SeventySix Capital primarily invests in companies in the sports technology space[8]. Investments include esports event organizer N3rd Street Gamers[9], basketball technology company ShotTracker[10], sports betting media network VSiN[11], digital content firm Whistle Sports[12], and crowdfunding platform Indiegogo.[13]
