Sex Matters is a campaign group. They describe their work as campaigning for clarity on sex in law and public policy.[2][3] They have been described as a human rights organisation,[4] an anti-trans group,[5] and a women's rights organisation.[6]
Respect My Sex[edit]
"Respect My Sex if you want my X" was a campaign launched in 2022 by Sex Matters, together with the groups Women Uniting and Women's Rights Network.[7] It was centred around "encouraging voters to ask politicians for their views on sex and gender identity." It was launched in the wake of politician Keir Starmer refusing to answer the question of what a woman is.[8][9]
