Sexo, pudor y lágrimas 2 (Sex, Shame, and Tears 2) is a Mexican film directed by Alonso Iñiguez. It is the sequel to the 1999 film Sexo, pudor y lágrimas. It was released by HBO Max in Latin American on April 2, 2022.[1]
Plot[edit]
Twenty years after the events that occurred in the first film, the lives of the protagonists of the story take place on a daily basis. Ana (Susana Zabaleta) is still married to Carlos (Víctor Huggo Martín) and they have a daughter named Matilde (Naian González Norvind), who is studying theater. Andrea (Cecilia Suárez), divorced Miguel (Jorge Salinas) and is a single mother of a daughter named Katia (Ximena Romo). María (Mónica Dionne) is a successful doctor and survives a suicide attempt. Everyone's life is turned upside down when Mateo (José Ángel Bichir), the son of the late Tomás shows up and investigates more about his father.
