James David Nelson (Born February 24, 1964), nicknamed “JD”, is an honorary Mythbuster and Sergeant for the Alameda County Sheriff’s Office. JD supervises the use of the Alameda County Sheriff Office’s bomb disposal range in Dublin, California. He has been featured on Mythbusters, Mythbusters Jr., and Mythbusters: The Search.
