Shadi Gilke is a Syrian Professional Soccer Player who played as a striker for the League-1 in Syria from 1987 to 1992, He then moved to Europe to play in FC Dynamo Moscow from 1992 to 1994. Shadi competed at the highest level in Europe and played in the 1992-1993 UEFA Champion League.

Shadi Gilke represented his country in the 1992 AFC Asian Cup and scored 6 goals during this tournament. After a long successful soccer career both in Asia and Europe, Shadi decided to immigrate to the US in 1998 where he obtained a soccer scholarship from the Southern Methodist University to paly soccer for the school. Shadi then graduated with a B.SC and M.SC in Mechanical engineering and he currently reside in Pearland Texas.

Shadi style of play is a striker position. He creates goal scoring chances with his powerful shot and has "remarkable technical ability" according to his soccer teammates. He can play in any position and possess an explosive ability with and without the ball.
