Shafali Spurling Jeste is an American pediatric neurologist specializing in autism and rare neurogenetic and neurodevelopmental disorders. Jeste is known for early studies on the rare genetic disorders Tuberous sclerosis complex (TSC)[1] and dup15[2]

She is Chief of Neurology at Children's Hospital of Los Angeles, where she leads the KiNDD Lab (Kids with Neurogenetic and Developmental Disabilities).[3]

She serves as the Co-Director of the Neurological Institute at CHLA and serves as the Las Madrinas Chair.

Jeste is the daughter of the neroupsychiatrist and author, Dilip V. Jeste, MD.
