Early Life and Education
Shahab Mokhtare was born on August 4, 1980, and grew up in Orange County, California. He completed his undergraduate studies at the University of California, Irvine, earning a Bachelor of Science in Biological Sciences. His early exposure to emergency care while working as a paramedic inspired his passion for medicine. Mokhtare attended Ross University School of Medicine, where he obtained his medical degree.
Following medical school, he completed a residency in family medicine at the University of Nevada School of Medicine in Reno. During this time, he discovered his interest in preventive and longevity medicine, ultimately pursuing certification in Age Management Medicine through Cenegenics in 2010.[2]
Career
Mokhtare began his medical career focusing on family medicine and later transitioned into age management and longevity medicine. In 2010, he joined Cenegenics Las Vegas, where he became a senior partner. His approach integrates hormone optimization, personalized nutrition, and fitness regimens to help patients achieve optimal health, reduce disease risk, and improve quality of life.
In addition to his work with Cenegenics, Mokhtare has served as a hospice medical director for over a decade, leading teams at organizations such as Siena Hospice and Shining Light Hospice. He also founded the Primary Medical Group, which provided in-home care for patients with chronic conditions.
