Shahid Hasan[1] (born 5 February 1976)[2] is an Indian film casting director. He cast new talents in the film industry for more than 20 movies. Notable among these are Roy, Ready, Kabali,[3] Total Dhammal.
Shahid Hasan[4] also produced some Bollywood movies like Pagalpanti,[5][6] Ready and Total Dhammal.
Early life[edit]
Shahid Hasan has completed his graduation in Hotel Management from Aligarh Muslim University. After completing his graduation, he joined the AMU drama club. And since then, he is an active member of the club. He worked with Humdard laboratories in Delhi for few years and later shifted to Mumbai in 2006.[7]
Career[edit]
Shahid Hasan came to Mumbai in 2006, and since then, he is working as a casting director and producer for Bollywood movies. Shahid Hasan[8] did the casting for different genre movies from comedy to drama films like Pagalpanti, BulBul, Khelein hum Jee Jaan Se, Grand Masti, Action replay, and more.
Shahid Hasan cast several actors for movies including director Indra Kumar's Total Dhamaal and Thank God, Pa. Ranjith's Kabali. He was also seen in movies as an actor like- Grand Masti- as a car driver, Total Dhammal- as office manager, Unforgettable- As hospital receptionist.[9]
