Shahnameh of Amin is the name of a book by Sayed Hassan Amin, Iranian jurist, philosopher, historian, writer, translator, poet and writer, and retired professor of international law at the University of Glasgow Caledonian, and managing director of Hafez Monthly, published in 2018. This book has been written by him in the form of an order with prose explanations about epic, history, literature, philosophy, culture, religion, law and politics in completing Ferdowsi's Shahnameh.[1][2][3][4]
book introduction[edit]
Shahnameh Amin has been recreated, summarized, analyzed and interpreted by Sayed Hassan Amin Shahnameh of Ferdowsi in order and prose. This work has been published in seven volumes, each volume of which is an independent book. Up-to-date concepts such as freedom, chivalry, human rights and non-discrimination on the basis of gender, ethnicity, language, etc. are rippled in it, and in addition to recreating the Shahnameh, the author also includes the continuation of Iranian and world history. Ferdowsi's context, however, is based on documentary history, and it can be said that the preface written on the first volume of this magnificent work has the value of an independent book and is full of precise and important literary, historical and cultural concepts and meanings that enter the reader's mind. It prepares the sea of order before it.[5]
Volumes[edit]
First volume[edit]
The first volume is about the ontology, Iranology, mythology and history of ancient Iran and its position in the world of that time until the fall of the Sassanid dynasty.
Second volume[edit]
The second volume deals with the history of civilization and culture of ancient Iran.
Third volume[edit]
The third volume of the history of religions in ancient Iran, and in particular the text of Zoroaster's Gata, has brought the Persian order to today.
Fourth volume[edit]
It is the fourth volume that Amin Shahnameh enters the period of post-Islamic Iranian history and puts the Abbasid caliphate in order from the Arab invasion to Iran.
Fifth volume[edit]
The fifth volume of this work covers a long historical period from the Mongol invasion of Iran until 2017
Sixth volume[edit]
Introducing the historical, scientific, cultural, artistic, political, legal and economic names of Iran.
Seventh volume[edit]
Detailed Alphabetical List of Concepts, Mirrors, Historical, and Geographical Announcements of Iran: An Encyclopedia Index of Shahnameh Amin
The importance of books[edit]
The importance of this work, regardless of its unique literary importance in the present era, should be considered in dealing with various aspects of Iranian history in all periods, which can be seen in less works, both prose and poetry. This book has been compiled as a platform for scientific and cultural renaissance of Iran and the Iranian Renaissance. On the occasion of the thousandth anniversary of the completion of Ferdowsi's Shahnameh, the author dedicated this book to the sage Abolghasem Ferdowsi and called it the same as Ferdowsi's Shahnameh, in other words, the second Shahnameh of Iran:[6][7]
I did a lot of research and the study in this Persian encyclopedia is the history and culture of our people, which is the second "Shahnameh".
